Author Duane Finley lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife, Renee, and their two children, Zoe and Atticus. He hosts a radio show on Sunday evenings and writes constantly, creating new worlds and new characters to enchant his readers.

While I may be a new voice on the scene, I will be around for a long time.  I am learning more about who I am and the world around me everyday and that will translate into my writing.  I will never stop critiquing my craft and my work ethic is tremendous. 

I am a life long student of history and while there were certain opportunities that were never provided for me, it is my life’s goal to make sure that they are open for my children.  I wake up each day and walk out into a world that we believe is changing all around us but things don’t change…we change and I am in constant awareness of this. 

In my short time on Earth I have survived everything from abuse to drug addiction and where many of my peers in life have fallen victim to self-pity, it is something I simply refuse to do.  Life is a paradoxical mystery and every window we pass on the street there lies a story behind it.   Someone has to tell their stories…and it is a job I am willing to do.
